Janice Kay Misak of Wayland, age 66, died Friday, Sept. 20.
She was born to Edward and Gladys Belka on Dec. 22, 1952, in Plainwell. The youngest of five children, she was always surrounded by family fun in their two-bedroom home.
Janice was married to Dennis Misak on Feb. 15, 1969. She had many loves in life related to her family including mushroom hunting, playing euchre, watching her sons and grandchildren race cars, relaxing around the kitchen table and watching deer at the cabin.
Janice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Denny ; sons Robert(Beth) and Lee(Brenda); six grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in October. She is also survived by her sister Ladonna Rybiski; sisters-in-law Mary Lou Belka and Diane Misak ; Brothers-in-law Harry Pattock, Keith Salas and Gary Misak and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved infant son Jerry Lee, siblings Yvonne Pattock, Gary Belka, Larry Belka, brother-in-law Tom Rybiski and nephew Gary Belka Jr.
Cremation has taken place. The family is asking friends to join them in a celebration of her life from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday Oct. 12, at the Wayland VFW Hall ,735 South Main St.
Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a donation, to the charity of their choice, in Janice’s honor, in lieu of flowers.
