John Christian Gohn, age 24, of Wayland, died Friday, Oct. 14.

John adored his daughter, Rose, and loved getting together with family for food and fellowship. He was a fan of music of all kinds and enjoyed playing his guitar.

He is survived by his parents Tami and Tim Gohn; daughter, Rose Elizabeth Gohn; siblings Dane (Angela), Justin, Christina (Jeffery Lucas), Josh, Megan (Cody), and Andrew; nieces and nephews Jack, Gabby, Jeffery and Henry; grandparents Susan and Donald Stiger and Sandy O’Reilly; aunts and uncles Tracy (Miles) Nelson, Jeremy (Karen) Zeiger, Brandon Phillipy; and many other extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Jack and Mary Krebs; and aunt, Jamie Elizabeth Phillipy.

A celebration of life service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the ResLife Center, 5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville (please enter door E or H). A time to visit with family and friends will be held from 10 a.m to noon prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for John’s daughter, Rose Elizabeth Gohn, care of his parents.
