Patricia Lynn Brendemihl (Smith), age 69, died on Friday, Oct. 15.
Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, but she loved being a grandma most of all. She shared a very special relationship with her grandson, Zack.
She had a loving heart; she opened her home and heart to everyone she knew and loved. She was always there for a conversation and a cup of coffee. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, August Brendemihl; children Troy (Meagan) Brendemihl, Dawn (Joe) Reed/Truax, Karie (Scott) Sipkema; stepchildren Lori (Scott) Cooper, Lisa (Todd) Cooper; daughter-in-law, Chris Englund; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Brendemihl, along with her parents William and Alma Smith.
Visitation with relatives and friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th Street, Dorr. Celebration of life services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the funeral home. Additionally, visitation will occur one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
In honor of Pat and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Metro Health Cancer Center.
