He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Wheeler; his children Ronald Cecil, Kelly Cook, and Susan Wheeler; grandchildren Clint Inderbitzin, Jesse Cecil, Cory Cook, Cynthia (Doug) Gibson, Aubrey VanderVeen, Colin VanderVeen, and Christina Buttleman; great-grandchildren Lily Cook, Julie Cook, Jaxtin Cook, Dorian Pickle, and one little blessing on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Larita Wheeler; and his son, David Wheeler.

A time of sharing memories and celebrating Stuart’s life will be held starting at noon Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Wayland VFW Post, 735 S. Main St.

In memory of Stuart and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayland VFW Post.
