A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Wayland VFW Post at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, for David Joe Corner 72 of Wayland. Corner died March 11 and was cremated.
He was born Nov. 10, 1946 in Plainwell. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his family and friends. He retired from Steelcase in 2001.
He is survived by brother James Corner, his wife of 41 years Elaine Corner, children Daniel Corner, Pamela Pastoor, Melissa (Jack) Farmer Jr. and Ann Corner, seven grand children and two great-grand daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ida Corner, sisters Ann Cooper, Susan Winglar and sister in law Sandy Corner.
