Celebration of life service for Betty Lou Abbott delayed

Betty Lou AbbottBetty Lou Abbott, age 70 of Dorr, died Monday, July 4.

Betty was a great hostess, cook and entertainer who enjoyed caring for her family and friends.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, going to casinos and meeting people.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later time to be announced.She is survived by her husband, Stan Abbott; her daughter Dawn Ellis and granddaughter Pearl Ellis and son and daughter-in-law Darren and Amy Abbott. She also is survived by her sister Diane (Bob) Aamoth, and nephews, Bill, Matt and Ben Aamoth; her brother Tony Kaleta and nieces Lori Kaleta and Shanda Novakoski and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary Kaleta, and sister-in-law, Sandy Kaleta.
