Chad Allen Carpenter, age 45, died unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 4.

Chad loved all things sports, ’80s movies and ’80s hair bands. The Michigan Wolverines will greatly miss their biggest fan. He loved his children “to the moon and back.”

He is survived by his parents Carolyn and Henry Carpenter; his children Kaylee, Khloe; his sister, Valerie (Steven) Haywood; the mother of his children, Judith Carpenter and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Kubiak-Cook – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., Wayland.

In honor of Chad’s love for the Michigan Wolverines, the family requests that all in attendance wear U of M attire.
