Edith Kilmer, age 86, of Wayland, died Friday, Nov. 26
Edith was beautiful, smart, funny and just purely good. Her concern for others was so genuine and true. She lived a life to give and help. Anything from surprise gifts to tediously planned favors, she always looked out for everyone, all of us.
Edie was so modest and proud that she would dig her own grave before letting these words be written. She modeled bravery, independence and strength. She worked hard, knowing that a little more would take us further. She loved sharing every moment with her granddaughter, Sabrina, and her special great-granddaughter, and bestest of friends, Leena.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at New Life Church, 160 Pine St, Wayland. In honor of Edith, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or the family for funeral expenses.
