Tim Curry died Jan. 15, at his home in Martin. He was 61.
Tim was born on Dec. 12, 1962 in Plainwell, to Jerry Curry Sr. and Dorla
(Kent) Curry, who both preceded him in death. He attended Martin Public Schools from
kindergarten through his senior year. Tim was a graduate of the class of 1981.
After graduation Tim attended Ferris State College and then was employed by Marshall Plastics for more than 25 years. Following his employment at Marshall Plastics he attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Avondale, AZ to become a certified motorcycle mechanic.
Unfortunately, after experiencing health issues he could no longer “work” but still loved to
tinker on motorcycles and dirt bikes when he was able.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Kailee Curry of Otsego. He is also survived by his siblings; Beth McGuire of Martin, Jerry (Pat) Curry Jr. of Martin, Bradley (Janet) Curry of Canyon Lake, TX, Chris (Dee Whitaker) Curry of Plainwell, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Tim’s Life is planned for Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Martin United Methodist Church, 969 E. Allegan St., Martin. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time the service will begin. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow the service.
