Judy Cooper’s celebration of life is in Dorr Saturday

Judith Ann “Judy” Cooper, 75, of Dorr, formerly of Hudson, Fla., died Monday, June 7.

Judy was fun-loving and had a great sense of humor. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart.

Judy is survived by her children, Roger Cooper Jr. and Dawn (Ray) Zarate; grandchildren, Christopher (Jackie) Cooper, Sarah (Jesse) LaBay, and Patrick Green; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Xander, Ryleigh, and Breeze; sisters, June (Eddie) Relak, Jean (Russ Osborn) Schmidt, and Jeri Abrams; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harve and Grace Abrams; husband of 32 years, Roger Cooper Sr.; siblings, Lee Abrams, Bob Abrams, Fred Abrams, Kenneth Abrams and Louetta Crawford.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be offered at her house, 1684 Selly Oak Ave., Dorr, at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Private interment will be held in Fairplains Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
