Cindi’s Boutique featured on FOX-17’s ‘Smart Shopper’

Cindi's BoutiqueCindi Sebring, owner of Cindi’s Boutique, 130 W. Superior St., will be featured at 9 a.m. Thursday in a Fox-17 television segment “Smart Shopper.”

Sebring said her consignment store is having a special sale in anticipation of the upcoming prom season.

“I carry both short and long gowns significantly under retail prices,” she said. “I am the only store even near a reasonable radius of Wayland!”

Sebring used to do business in Plainwell, but moved into the old flower shop on West Superior last year because it had more space.

“I purchase consignments from women, sell them and give the previous owner 50% of the sale,” she explained. “It’s a great way for both parties to earn bucks. I sell everything – jeans (tons of teens go here for Silver and other brands of them), summer, prom, mother-of-the-bride and kinds of dresses. Name brand shirts, blouses and pants.”

Sebring said her interest in women’s clothing was sparked early in her life.

She said, “I’ve been sewing and making my own clothing since I was 13. All of my girlfriends wanted me to loan them.”

Cindi’s Boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 to 6 Wednesdays, 10 to 5 Thursdays, 10 to 6 Fridays and 11 to 3 Saturdays. For more information, call (269) 217-2141.

Congrats Cindi on bringing the media to Wayland! As you are the only clothing store remotlely near us Wayland-ites, it’s cool that ‘Secret Shopper’ pursued YOU. Feel proud. Your boutique is innovative and so are you! Can’t wait to see when the other outlets write/broadcast about Cindi’s Retail and Boutique as well.
