City’s water tower withholds fluoride for maintenance

The City of Wayland’s water tower will be out of service for maintenance and necessary upgrades between the approximate dates of Sept. 6 and Oct. 2.

This is a notice that during this time period, the city will not be feeding its typical dose of fluoride. Normal dosage rates will resume when the water tower project is completed, passed the proper bacteria tests, and put back into service.

  1. Will we get a discount on our next water bill? Seeing how they won’t have to spend money on fluoride.
