Clare Harold Goodman, 74, of Alto, died Thursday, July 7, at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1941, to Clare and Emily (Schwartz) Goodman in Allegan. He graduated from Wayland Union High School in 1960. Clare worked in Manufacturing for Steelcase for 32 years and then worked at Saskatoon Golf Club.
On April 18, 1964, he married Clara Bruinsma. He loved to golf, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Going to Tigers’ games with his son was always a special time for him.
Clare is survived by his spouse, Clara, three daughters, ZoAnn Reigler, Nikale (Allen) Stakenas, Veronica Thomas; son, Bill (Michelle) Goodman; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchilden; mother Emily Goodman; brother, Larry (Jayne) Goodman
He was preceded in death by father, Clare M. Goodman
