It was the second straight week that Martin’s football team defeated an opponent that made the post-season playoffs in 2018.

This time it was Tri-Unity Christian, victim of a 20-0 shutout at the hands of the Clippers, who beat Bellevue 20-12 in their season opener.

Cayden Curry rushed for 155 yards on 14 carries, Curry scored two ouchdowns on runs of one yard and 32 yards. Gabe Meyers added another touchdown on a 38-yard run.

The offense ran for a total of 305 yards. Defensively, Curry led with three pass interceptions and six tackles. Jakob Conley added a team high 10 tackles. Brayden Eckman had seven tackles and Quinn Gortion added six.

Martin will take its 2-0 overall record into a contest this Friday night against
