Martin freshman sensation still breaking cross records

Martin High School freshman cross-country sensation Veyda Conley continues to break school records for running five kilometers. Conley last Saturday, Sept. 30, in the Otsego Bulldog Invitational, broke her own record and crashed that 20-minute barrier with a time of 19:42.81. She finished second individually in the race. Martin, however, failed to score as a team because it doesn’t field the rquired minimum of five runners.
