There were no reports of scores for the Wayland girls’ and Martin boys’ high school basketball games Friday evening.

Meanwhile, the Clipper girls pushed their overall season record to 3-0 with a 48-35 triumph at Saugatuck. They had beaten Coloma 46-40 and Lawrence 41-22 in their two previous outings.

The Hopkins girls’ squad, however, continues to struggle, dropping a 62-50 decision to Allendale. The Lady Vikings now are 0-3 overall.

The Wayland girls had a contest scheduled for Friday against Grand Rapids West Catholic, but no information was available.

The Wayland boys today (Saturday) are playing in a special annual showcase at Ottawa Hills High School against Stevensville Lakeshore. The Wildcats are 1-1 thus far this season.
