Andrew Keyzer scored three times and Martin won for the first time this season Friday with a 30-15 victory at Eau Claire.
Martin took the opening drive 70 yards and scored on a 24- yard run by Keyzer. The Clippers missed the two-point conversion try.
Collin Warner scored on a six yard run to cap a 14-play drive early in the second quarter to give Martin a 12-0 lead, but Eau Claire answered on its next possession to make it 12-7.
The Clippers scored twice more before the half, the first on a nine-yard run by Keyzer and the second on a 25 yard pass from quarterback Garrett Dill to tight end Tanner Curry. Martin took a 24-7 lead into the half.
Martin continued to move the football in the third quarter, with Keyzer scoring from 18 yards out before Eau Claire answered with a touchdown of its own and a two point conversion to finish the night’s scoring.
Martin controlled the ball for most of the second half, eating up the clock with a 20-play drive that took nine and a half minutes off the clock.
Martin ended the night with 329 yards rushing. Keyzer led the way with 101 yards in only 11 carries. Warner carried the ball 21 times for 98 yards and Luke Vanputten had 78 yards on 11 carries.
Dill finished three for eight passing for 54 yards with Curry catching all three passes.
The defense had an outstanding night with one interception, a fumble recovery and two sacks. Andrew Boss led the defense with 10 tackles and Curry added eight.
Vanputten, Dill, Cameron Conley and Austin Pillars all had seven tackles while Warner finished with five tackles, one sack, and an interception.
The 1-4 Clippers will travel to 1-4 Bloomingdale next week. Eau Claire fell to 0-5.
