Martin dropped a doubleheader to Southwest Athletic Conference division leader Decatur Monday, losing the first game 15-0 in only three innings and dropping the nightcap 13-3 in five.

The Clippers managed only two hits in the first game, a leadoff single by Zeke Dillenbeck in the first inning and a two-out double by Travis Thome in the second.

Jacob Robinson started on the mound and took the loss, giving up 10 hits and 13 runs. Only seven of the runs were earned, however. Dillenbeck worked a partial inning in relief.

In the second game, Martin managed two more hits, singles by Peyton Hunt and Jacob Nash.

Ethan Gorton started and recorded the loss, pitching three and a third innings and Dillenbeck pitched in relief again.

Martin will travel to Lawrence Thursday.
