Hopkins High School senior Colin Weber, one of the most sought-after athletes in West Michigan this year, has decided to extend his football playing next year at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, an NCAA Division 1 school.

Weber has been a standout for the Vikings in football and basketball, playing both sports on the varsity for four years. The 6-5 standout has won all-conference and all-state accolades in both.

His older brother, Drew, is at Olivet College in the MIAA and his sister Mady is a sophomore on the Hopkins girls’ varsity basketball team.
