Townbroadcast apparently incorrectly reported that Wayland Board of Education Vice President Pete Zondervan voted against a proposal for building administrators.
Zondervan voted in the affirmative and the proposal passed 4-3 instead of being turned down 4-3.
The proposal was for a tweaked salary agreement for building administrators that would meant a little extra pay for some of them for efforts made during difficult recent times. Zondervan said he thought the administrators deserved it. Voting against the pay raise were Janel Hott, Treasurer Toni Ordway and Board President Dan Casini. Zondervan, Theresa Dobry, Jason Shane and Becky Hohnke voted “yes.”
