Dahlia City Floral is closing its doors at 120 S. Main St., in downtown Wayland. A Facebook post today said, “It is with a heavy heart I am announcing that I will not be reopening Dahlia City Floral. Between not finding help, the virus and our so-called governor I am taking strike 3 from her and calling it good. My thanks to all our wonderful customers, Marsha for her wonderful floral designs, Heather in helping me get it started downtown, my wife’s support, my daughter and the rest of my family. I Have had the business for sale for a time and the last family that looked at it will be interested in keeping it a gift shop so stay tuned. It was a pleasure to serve you all and I hope God blesses you all.” The store opened downtown in early January 2019 and underwent renovations for a grand reopening last October.
