Somebody on Facebook Saturday afternoon asked, “Why does it always rain on Halloween? It probably doesn’t, but seems that way. Trick-or-treaters were fewer in number as temperatures hovered in the mid-40s and it was raining just about everywhere. Some families beat the weather with indoor celebrations and the high school Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) chapter was host to the annual “Hallowed Halls” festivities Friday at Wayland High School. There probably were some homes full of people wondering what they could do with all this candy. (Photo courtesy Tracey Klinkner)
