Don Black honored for 20 years on County Board

Don Black, shown here with his wife, was honored this month by the Allegan County Board of Commissioners for his 20 years of service on the board. Black, who also was Wayland Township Supervisor, was elected to 10 two-year terms before announcing his retirement at the end of this year. He will be succeeded as commissioner of the 7th District by Rick Cain, former president of the Wayland Board of Education.
