Wayland Schools Food Service Director Sarah Parr put on a cooking demonstration Monday in Tara Vanderven’s first grade class at Dorr Elementary as part of Chartwells’ “Chefs2Schools” event promoting nutrition education. Students learned how to make hummus and how different spices can make food taste better. They sampled the hummus with pita bread and a carrot.
