The Dorr Township Board Monday night awarded the bid for paving 1.39 miles of 144th Avenue to Superior Asphalt at a cost of $237,255.
The vote in the special meeting was unanimous, 7-0. The project is part of the plans to upgrade local roads as outlined by a citizens’ Road Committee chaired by Carolyn Sandel.
The project should start in late May or early June and may take four months to finish.
