Dorr Township Treasurer Jim Martin points to 22nd Street, where reconstruction is nearly complete.

The Dorr Township Planning Commission’s community meeting set for Tuesday night has been called off because of concerns about spreading the Coronavirus. However, the commission’s regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m.

The community meeting was to be about the township’s master plan and officials worried that it might attract more than the limit of 50 attendees. The meeting was survey of local residents on what they’d like to see for the future of the township.

Consultant Nathan Mehmed of the planning firm of Williams & Works will continue to work with the commission on the master plan.
