Mock crash planned at Wayland High School parking lot

Wayland Union High School’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) together with local law enforcement will hold a mock crash at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 17,  in the stadium parking lot behind the high school.

Local emergency response personnel with their vehicles and equipment will be on site during the event as they re-create a crash scene.  This powerful demonstration will show the student body what could happen if driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The event will take place the day before the WUHS prom which is Saturday, April 18, in Kalamazoo.
