The United Church of W
ayland will have a “Car Hop Hot Dog Lunch” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, in the church parking lot at 411 E. Superior St.
Patrons can just drive in and be served a hot dog, chips and soda in the style of drive-ins in the 1950s and ’60s or eat inside, if preferred. Cost is $5 per person.
Proceeds will go to the youth fellowship camp.
