Annual Veterans Day ceremony is Nov. 10 at Pine St., Hopkins

Pine Street Elementary School’s fifth- and sixth-graders will honor local veterans at the annual Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the Pine Street Elementary School gym.

The public and local veterans are invited to attend the ceremony. 

Students are selected to help escort the colors in the Grand Entrance of Armed Forces and greet guests. One sixth-grader will be chosen to recite the poem In Flanders Field. The sixth grade choir will perform and a high school band student will play Taps.  

The Pine Street Elementary gym is located across from the school on Pearl Street in Wayland. Doors will open at 9:30.

Hopkins High School will be the site of a Veterans Day ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10.
