Author, librarian Travis Jonker to talk about his book

Wayland schools librarian and published author Travis Jonker will give a presentation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Wayland Union High School Fine Arts Center.

He will talk about his debut picture book “The Very Last Castle,” illustrated by Mark Pett. Jonker will tell how an idea becomes a book, followed by a book signing.

There will also be a free book giveaway drawing Books will be available for purchase at the event.
