Barn preservation presentation planned in Dorr Oct. 1

James Mulvaney from the Michigan Barn Preservation organization will give a presentation at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at the Crosswinds Community Church in Dorr.

He will talk about historical events that impacted agriculture and the architecture of barns over time. He will show attendees what to look for in barns and why buildings are the way they are.

The presentation is free, but donations to the Michigan Barn Preservation Network will be appreciated.
