The first annual Wayland High School winter baseball camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 28, at the WHS gym balcony, with registration at 8 a.m.
The camp is geared to Wayland Little League age boys (K-6 grades)
Areas of focus will include pitching mechanics, throwing progression/mechanics, infield/outfield drills, catching, defensive situations, hitting, baserunning, bunting and the importance of academics.
Youth League representatives will be on hand to register boys for the 2018 youth league season.
Participants are encouraged bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, batting helmet, water, etc… Wear tennis shoes, sweats and/or baseball pants, ball cap, etc…
Cost of $25 includes T-shirt. (Payments will be made in WEBSTORE – Check payments on the day of the camp need to be made out to Wayland Union Baseball)
