A benefit dinner for Wayland Middle School teacher and assistant varsity wrestling coach Jody Tyner will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan.5, at the Delton Moose Lodge.
Tyner suffered a stroke Dec.17 and has been hospitalized in Grand Rapids since. He died Saturday.
Proceeds will be used to help his family defray medical expenses.
