Carpenters, Millwrights center open house April 29

A ribbon cutting and open house for the new carpenters and millwrights training center on Reno Drive in Wayland will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 29. Visitors can tour the facility, which includes a huge meeting room. It has high visibility because it can be seen easily from the U.S.-131 expressway just south of the Wayland exit, No. 64. The Wayland Carpenters and Millwrights Training Center will also have a career fair from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at its 500 Reno Drive facility.
