Community Action Agency food distribution is Dec. 16 in Wayland

Community Action of Allegan County will have a commodity food distribution Wednesday, Dec. 16, 9n Wayland.

Food will be distributed from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Wayland Ambulance, 911 S. Main in Wayland.

This is the first distribution of the agency’s year, so prior recipients will need to register again, bringing a photo ID and proof of Allegan County residency.

Food is available to families with income under 200 percent of the poverty level. The maximum monthly gross income for households of one is $1,945; households of two, $2,622, three, $3,299; four, $3,976, five, $4,653 and households of six, $5,330.
