Coronavirus cancels Skywarn session Saturday

The National Weather Service (NWS) Grand Rapids Office has decided to cancel all “Skywarn” Spotter Training Sessions for March as part of efforts to mitigate potential negative COVID-19 impacts at large gatherings.

Among those sessions canceled by NWS Grand Rapids is Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. at the Luella Collins Community Center Shelbyville.

For Allegan County residents, please submit a copy of your certificate after the completion of the online course to Allegan County Emergency Management 3271-122^nd Ave, Allegan, MI 49410, if you would like to receive your Skywarn card.
