Dorr Twp. Fire Dept. plans pancake breakfast Oct. 14

The Dorr Township Fire Department will have a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 14, at the station on the corner of 142nd Avenue and 18th Street in downtown Dorr.

Pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice and coffee will be provided in the meal. This will be donations style, with some of the proceeds going to the department’s scholarship fund. The department will be giving a scholarship to one individual, who is pursuing a career in Fire Fighting/EMT.

Also included will be free games, prizes, and face painting for the kids, who will be able to go inside the fire trucks, talk with local fire fighters and checkout all the gear.
