County Resource Recovery will sponsor a household hazardous waste, TV/computer and electronic device collection at Wayland Harding’s Market parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7.
Area residents may drop off their units for disposal.
No appointments are necessary. Residents must show ID to ensure they reside in a participating township or city. Residential use only, no businesses.
Electronic Devices are collected by a reputable electronic recycling company that has a zero landfill, and hard drive destruction policy. There is a one TV limit and this year residents eligible are Wayland City, Wayland Twp, Dorr Twp, Hopkins Twp and Leighton Twp.
This event is free and is for residents who live in the following communities and pay the recycle surcharge on their home tax bill: Wayland City, Wayland Twp, Allegan Twp, Dorr Twp, Gun Plain Twp, Hopkins Twp, Leighton Twp, Twp, Monterey Twp, Otsego City, Otsego Twp, Twp, Trowbridge Twp.
