Event to honor retiring Wayland Athletic Boosters President

A special recognition for Wayland Athletic Boosters President Tom Andrews will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wayland High School Fine Arts Center.

Andrews, who has been fighting a battle with cancer for some time, is stepping down as Booster President as a result. The event is intended to celebrate his contributions and commitment to local athletics in the Grand Hall outside the Fine Arts Center.

Local residents are urged to come share support and thanks to Andrews.
