The first annual “Faith and Blue Event” will be held Friday Oct. 8, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the New Life Church Store across the street from Pine Street Elementary.Wayland Police will join with area churches to have a get together to promote community and spiritual engagement. Included will be cider, doughnuts, coffee and conversation about cyber safety, identity theft, elder abuse, and a whole host of topics.
Police vehicles will be on the scene and police will have a small tent set up out front, with a store to go inside and enjoy. Thin Blue Line Bracelets, pencils, stickers, and maybe a prize or two to for some lucky attendee(s).
