The Rabbit River montblobhly folk music series will mark its fifth anniversary Saturday with a “Hootennany” celebration, sponsored by the Gun Lake Tribe Band of Pottawatomi Indians, at the Vibrant Grains Restaurant, 142 S. Main St.

The monthly series customarily gets under way at 6 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month, but on Oct. 1, the program is being expanded to six hours, from 4 to 10 p.m.

Also  as part of the Hootenanny, free cake will be served to all loyal listeners who show up and Vibrant Grains is having a special barbecue menu for those who would like to purchase a meal befitting the occasion.

However, there will be no customary open mic or jam session this month, given all the musical acts performing.

• 4:20-4:35 Randy Stauffer

4:40-4:55 Rick Tripplet

5:00-5:20 Brushridge
