Downtown Martin MI
Founder’s Day, the celebration of Martin’s 180th anniversary, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in the community downtown.
The JC Wheeler Library will present its K-6 program from 10:30 to 11:30, featuring a mime performance. From 11:30 to noon will be an introduction about what plans are for the day and explanation of the celebration.
A grilled hot dog lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m., and during this time, there will be games set up for the kids and a live band, “Last Chance” playing for the adults.
From 1 to 2 p.m. there will be a cornhole tournament, from 2-3 Scott Kuykendall will be in the library building for a history presentation and more music from a live band, “Kleen Sl8,” will be presented.
