The Wayland Union Schools’ annual Summer Fun-Tastic free lunch series for children 18 years old and younger will resume the week of June 25 to 29 but will take the week of July 5 off, from July 2 to July 6.
The school district again is working with local businesses and the Henika District Library to offer a series of fun, summer events in which a free meal is provided Monday through Friday each week. The lunches will be served at Steeby Elementary School, Hunters Glen Mobile Home Community, Sawmill Estates and Windsor Woods Village.
Besides free meals, a free event offered this coming week will be Art Attack — Tuesday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Henika Library, with lunch served at Steeby Elementary from 11:30 to noon.
