GFWC-Gun Lake to sponsor golf fund-raiser June 22

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Gun Lake will sponsor its annual four-person fund-raising golf outing with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Orchard Hills Golf Course.

Proceeds from the event will toward the club’s funding of academic scholarships for one senior each from Wayland, Martin, Thornapple Kellogg and Delton Kellogg schools.

Cost is $75 per person. The four-person scramble includes 18 holes of golf, riding cart, light lunch, dinner after the competition and chances to win prizes.
