GFWC to sponsor golf outing for area scholarships

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Gun Lake Area is sponsoring a fun-raising golf outing at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Orchard Hills Golf Course, 714 125th Ave., Shelbyville.

The fourth annual event is the GFWC’s main fund-raising event to support several scholarships the club gives to area high school students in Wayland, Martin, Delton and Thornapple Kellogg each year.
