‘Gridiron Giving’ fund-raising contest to be held Thursday

A “Gridiron Giving” fund-raising event will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Wayland High School gym.

The Lady Wildcats will be taking on Grand Rapids South Christian in a volleyball match and admission will be free to all, but donations will be taken at the door on behldh of the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Wayland is cometing with O-K Gold Conference rival Middleville Thornapple Kellogg to see which school can come up with the higher total.
