The Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Gun Lake Tribe of Potawatomis will have its annual Sweetgrass Moon Pow WowSaturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, at Jijak Camp at 2044 126th Ave. in Hopkins Township.
Featured over the two days will be Dino Dancer, Potato Dance, Men’s vs. Women’s Fancy Dance, Two-Step, Team Dance and Street Dance. Other events will include the Sobriety Walk, and the Grand Entries Saturday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
The festivities are open to the public free of charge, but the tribe will be accepting donations of non-perishable goods for Project Hope in Dorr.
