Hoops game vs. GR Christian to help fight cancer

The Wayland High School Student Council will be host for acharity basketball game at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at 6pm for the American Cancer Society.

The home game against Grand Rapids Christian will be held at the WUHS gym at 870 E. Superior St., Wayland.

The basketball players will be fighting for someone close to their hearts battling cancer. Student Council will be selling t-shirts at the game, accepting online donations, and running a three-point challenge. Pledge for every three-pointer the WUHS team makes during the campaign or make a one-time flat donation to help the American Cancer Society lead the fight for a world without cancer.
