The entire Hopkins school district will honor the memory of senior Andrew Hofstee will a special Hat Day to collect funds for Andrew’s family in this time of need. Staff and Students can participate by paying $1 (more is accepted, if you desire) to wear a hat.
A Go Fund Me page on line has been established for the benefit of the mother of 17-year-old Hopkins High School senior Andrew Hofstee, who died suddenly last Saturday of medical complications.
The Go Fund Me post on behalf of his sister, Abigail, said, “With the average cost of proper funeral services in the United States exceeding $10,000, any contribution will help the Hofstee family during this painful time. Please consider donating not only to help the family with an unexpected financial cost, but also to help give Andrew the service he deserves.”
