The Gun Lake Tribe of Potawatomis is inviting the public to the fall festival and corn dance from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Jijak Foundation site in Hopkins Township.
Jijak Director Kevin Finney said the day will include feasting and working with the fall harvest of traditional foods.
“This full day will event will feature activities for all ages, including crafts, hands-on cooking and food processing workshops,” Finney said. “The event is open to everyone and free to attend.”
